ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Creative Student Worker (Videographer, Photographer, Graphic Designer) supports the full-time staff of the Office of Spiritual Development by completing professional administrative tasks to enhance and fulfill department outcomes. Working closely with the Executive Creative Director, the role creates digital and print assets for Convocation, Campus Community, social media channels, live musical performances, departmental events, and campus events, including LU Stages, LU Shepherd, LU Serve, LU Send, and Liberty Worship Collective.
- Develop digital and/or print assets for Convocation, Campus Community, and Liberty Worship Collective.
- Create content for LU Stages, LU Shepherd, LU Serve, LU Send, and Liberty Worship Collective.
- Support graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and content creators with digital assets.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment, meeting content specifications, deadlines, and budget restrictions.
- Stay up‑to‑date with Generation Z trends and industry‑standard creative tools.
- Ideate new initiatives and original content that engages the target audience.
- Education and experience:
Preferably past experience in a related field. - Proficiency in operating gear pertaining to the specific skillset.
- Proficiency in Adobe programs relevant to the role.

ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES- Communication:
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing, understand, speak, and write English, and represent Liberty University professionally. - Organizational and computer skills, especially Microsoft Office.
- Problem‑solving:
Intuitively reason, analyze information, and apply judgment to solve routine and complex problems.
Occasional travel to local and campus locations; sit for extended periods; hear and speak; stand, walk, and climb stairs; handle materials; lift 25 lbs or fewer.
WORKING CONDITIONSThe role is performed in a climate‑controlled office setting that is well lighted with moderate noise levels. Employees may be required to use personal or LU vehicles; proof of a valid driver’s license, acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval, and liability insurance will be required.
TIME TYPE, LOCATION, AND REMUNERATIONPart‑time, onsite. Pay starts at $12.77 per hour, at least the Virginia minimum wage. Compensation may vary based on responsibilities, skills, and market conditions.
