Graduate writing coaches are primarily responsible for one-on-one coaching of graduate and undergraduate student visitors to the Writing Center. Coaches are expected to possess excellent writing and grammar skills, as well as maintain current knowledge in all formats of graduate academic writing (MLA, APA, etc.). Other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesMinimum Qualifications:
- Current residential graduate student at Liberty University.
- Cumulative LU GPA of at least 3.0.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Flexible schedule.
- Eligible for Federal Work Study.
- Previous tutoring and/or customer service experience.
