Home Services Program Teacher
Plan and provide appropriate learning experiences for students. Provide an atmosphere and environment conducive to the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of individuals to ensure success for every student.
Students who have been assigned to homebound instruction for mental health reasons. The assignment is intended to meet the goal of the student and transition the student into the school schedule.
Provide quality instruction setting and works with the student's zoned school's teacher of record to implement the curriculum to reflect the mission of the school division.
Implement school board policies during homebound instruction.
Plan for instruction to achieve desired objectives that reflect the Standards of Learning and school division curriculum guides.
Administer the systematic evaluation system for the identification of strengths and weaknesses of students.
Uses resources to support student learning.
Participates in staff development consistent with individual needs, program evaluation results, and instructional improvement plans.
Creates an atmosphere of trust and mutual respect with students, parents, and day treatment facilities.
Promotes effective communication and interpersonal relations.
Models and maintains appropriate professional conduct with students, parents, staff, and community as delineated in school board policy.
