Summary:

Take the next step in your early childhood career as an Early Head Start (EHS) Supervising Teacher. In this role, you’ll lead a classroom team while still doing what you love—working directly with infants and toddlers. You’ll create a safe, engaging environment where children can grow and thrive, while also supporting and coaching teachers, partnering with families, and helping shape a strong classroom culture.

• Creating a warm, structured classroom where children feel safe, supported, and ready to learn
• Leading and supporting teachers through coaching, feedback, and collaboration
• Planning engaging, developmentally appropriate activitiesusing a research-based curriculum
• Building strong relationships with families through communication, conferences, and home visits
• Using observations and assessments to support each child’s development
• Working closely with program staff to ensure high-quality, inclusive services for all children
• Keeping classrooms organized and aligned with program and licensing standards

• Experience in early childhood education, especially with infants and toddlers
• Leadership skills and the ability to support and guide a team
• Strong organization skills with attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate, communicate clearly, and build positive relationships
• Passion for supporting children, families, and fellow educators

• CDA (or equivalent) focused on infant/toddler development;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Prior leadership experience
• Pass andmaintainall required background checks
