Residential Faculty Financial Planning – School of Business

Faculty are essential to Liberty University’s mission of Training Champions for Christ. It is expected that a faculty member model a personal commitment to the goals and values of Liberty University, engage in an active commitment to, and experience of, personal spiritual formation within a biblically informed

Christian worldview. Faculty should view their teaching,engagement with students, and scholarship as a means to asignificant educational end. They should strive to employ avariety of techniques for the development of good learning conditions, view each student as a unique individual, and insofaras it is possible, provide for individual differences,abilities, and interests.

• Teaching material from the approved curriculum in accordance withan assigned schedule to ensure student satisfaction.
• Assist students in achieving completion of objectives and learning outcomes.
• Provide regular and timely feedback to students.
• Participate in school retention initiatives by maintaining productive contact with students and by getting in touch with and helping absent students.
• Advise students in matters related to academics, attendance, and behaviors.
• Motivate students to participate in all aspects of the educational process actively.
• Maintain and report student grades and attendance in accordance with university policies.
• Maintain university standards regarding course activity, emails,grading, and communication with residential chair and students.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are seeking faculty who can teach students at the Undergraduatelevel.

Required Qualifications:

A master’s degree in financial planning OR18 graduate hours in financial planning.

Preferred

Qualification:

A master’s degree in financial planning and a Certified Financial Planner.

To teach at the undergraduate level one will need to have amaster’s degree with 18 graduate hours in financial planning.

The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's rank, contract length, skills,work experience, internal equity, market conditions,education/training and other factors, as reasonably determined bythe University.
