You have completed a BS in Nuclear Engineering, or a related engineering degree. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in a related role for at least 7 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

• Familiarity with light water reactors and have performed multiple nuclear analysis licensing calculations
• Knowledge on how to model and generate complex cross sections
• Experience modeling the core behavior during simulated transients to support safety analyses
• Customer focus and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a passion for problem solving

You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As an Experienced Neutronics Engineer in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include:

• Working with multi-discipline teams to support coupled safety analyses using Framatome's advanced tools and methods.
• Modeling core configurations and calculating associated nuclear parameters using neutronic simulation and spectral codes.
• Providing inputs for downstream analyses and documenting the analyzed results.
• Supporting regular interactions with customers and related engineering disciplines to resolve complex, technical issues and provide high quality products.
• Supporting the creation of new codes and neutronics methods and the associated licensing activities.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $112,000 - $152,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
