Summary

Delta Star Inc. is seeking a forward-thinking Innovation and Technology Transformer Engineer to drive the development and implementation of next-generation solutions in transformer design, manufacturing efficiency, and operational monitoring. In this role, you’ll research emerging technologies, develop prototypes, and collaborate across teams to deliver innovations that support grid modernization, sustainability, and digitalization. What You’ll Do

As an Innovation and Technology Transformer Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of research and development, identifying technologies that can transform transformer design and manufacturing. You’ll evaluate new materials, assembly methods, and digital monitoring solutions, while supporting cross-functional teams in integrating innovations into product lines. Your work will directly impact performance, efficiency, and sustainability, ensuring Delta Star remains a leader in supporting the global energy transition.

A Day in the Life

Your day will begin by reviewing ongoing research projects and identifying opportunities to test new technologies in transformer design and assembly. You’ll spend time developing prototypes, analyzing performance data, and working closely with engineering teams to validate proof-of-concept solutions.

Throughout the day, you’ll collaborate with colleagues in design, manufacturing, and quality to explore improvements in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability. You’ll also evaluate digital monitoring and predictive maintenance systems, preparing reports and presentations to share insights and recommendations with leadership and stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring a balance of technical expertise and creativity, with experience in developing and testing innovative engineering solutions. You should be passionate about energy systems, comfortable with emerging technologies, and skilled at collaborating across disciplines. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in transformer or power systems manufacturing required
  • Broad understanding of emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Ability to design, prototype, and test new concepts
  • Strong creative and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
