Your Day to Day as an NDT Inspector:

• Perform NDT inspections using various methods (ultrasonic, radiographic, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, eddy
  current, etc.) on components utilizing conventional and automated inspection equipment.
• Perform loading of components using lifting and handling equipment and fixturing.
• Perform calibration, inspection, and process control checks on NDT equipment.
• Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results in accordance with code requirments and operating
  procedures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records, logs, and documentation related to all work.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must also meet one (1) of the following traning/experience requirements:
  • Successfully graduated from the Accelerated Training in Defence Manufacturing (ATDM) NDT program.
  • Successfully completed an NDT program or equivalent from a recognized trade school or community college.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an NDT inspector with perference in Ultrasonic (UT), Radiography (RT), or Liquid Penetrant (LP) inspections.
• Must have the ability to learn and utilize software applications specific to the company.
• Must meet the required Work Keys assessment standards.
• Must be highly motivated, with a focus on attention to detail.
• Must be a US Citizen with no dual citizenship.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.

The starting rate for this position in Virginia (US-VA) is $38.56 per hour. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, retirement and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment and are subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
