We are seeking a Process Engineer to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence at our chemical manufacturing plant. This role partners cross-functionally to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and sustainability while leading troubleshooting and process optimization efforts.
You’ll play a key role in identifying improvement opportunities, leading projects (capital and non-capital), and applying data-driven and Six Sigma methodologies to improve plant performance.
This position also provides hands‑on production support and requires strong collaboration with operations, supply chain, and engineering teams.
This is a site-based role with on‑call responsibilities to support production as needed.
Minimum Qualifications and Education Required Min Years of ExperienceMore than 3 years of experience manufacturing, preferably in a batch processing chemical environment.
Education and area of focusChemical Engineering degree or similar
Certifications / Trainings- Six Sigma certification preferred (Green Belt or above) Familiarity with PSM, OSHA and other safety or regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to all varieties of audience and leaves a clear understanding of message
- Strong computer capabilities
- Curious, agile learner who drives improvement through critical thinking, adaptability, and flexibility
- Ability and desire to act as change agent to improve plant performance while maintaining high engagement
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to function under pressure
- Problem solving skills and personal judgement to take independent action

- Supports site HES policy and complies with all regulatory and internal requirements
- Participates in HES activities provided by site management and Arkema Inc. (e.g., Behavioral Base Safety, Safe Start, etc.)
- Supports and promotes the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident or injury incidents
- Conditions:
Chemical manufacturing facility with all inherent risks - On-call status for off- hours production problem solving
