Your Day to Day as a Met Lab Engineer:
- Provides technical support for lab personnel, processes, and inspection equipment.
- Provides technical documentation/reports.
- Interfaces with both internal and external customers.
- Supports a project team, communicating status of any technical or production issues.
- Assists with development and implementation of new or improved inspection techniques.
- Creates and revises procedures, forms, and submittals.
- Assists with quoting for future work scopes.
- Maintains and trends on inspection data and key product attributes.
- Maintains cognizance over assigned area/process.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Demonstratable skills and knowledge in using and understanding contract technical requirements.
- Superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail.
- US Citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Material Science degree from an ABET Accredited Institution.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior experience with NOG-L Quality Systems, EtQ docQnet, Solumina, and Smart Forms.

Pay: $77,000 - $116,000
