yThe Electrical Engineering Manager leads a team of electrical engineers and designers responsible for developing conveyor control systems, power distribution systems, motor controls, PLC programming, and automation solutions. This position ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet safety and customer requirements
Key Responsibiliti- es Manage and mentor electrical engineers, controls engineers, and designer
- s. Oversee electrical design for conveyor and material-handling system
- s. Review and approve electrical schematics, panel layouts, and control drawing
- s. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and customer specification
- s. Coordinate with mechanical engineering, manufacturing, project management, and installation team
- s. Lead development of PLC, HMI, VFD, and automated control system
- s. Support complex electrical and controls issues during commissioning and startu
- p. Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve conveyor performance and reliabilit
- y. Manage engineering resources and prioritize multiple project
- s. Participate in customer meetings and provide technical suppor
- ons Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or 7–10+ years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in conveyor systems, automation, or material handli
- ng. 3–5+ years of leadership or management experien
- ce. Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, motor controls, VFDs, and industrial automati
- on. Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, UL, and OSHA require men
- ts. Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar design softwa
- re. Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skil ls.
- ence Experience with warehouse automation, distribution centers, or manufacturing facilit
- ies. Knowledge of conveyor controls and integration with robotics or automated storage syst
- ems. Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
