- Project Engineering
- Effective and efficient planning, organization, and prioritization of work to support internal/external customers and stakeholders. - Knowledge of Component Engineering & ASME Code and quickly gains technical knowledge including a practical understanding of technical and quality requirements, performance requirements, and configuration control.
- Technical supplier oversight skills such as high attention to detail in the preparation and review of work products with the intent of first-time quality.
- Clear and concise written and oral communication skills with internal/external customers and stakeholders and the humility to listen, learn, and continuously improve.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving including efficient identification, comprehensive evaluation, and effective implementation of solutions in support of component fabrication and testing.

As a Project Engineer in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the IBPE
- Nuclear Parts Center Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. For over 40 years, Framatome's Nuclear Parts Center (NPC) has been supplying high quality products to ensure the safe, reliable, and long-term operation of commercial nuclear power plants. The NPC is a 42,000 sq.ft. Level B storage facility with extensive technical operations and in-house support functions. We maintain nearly 30,000-line items of commercial, safety-related, and ASME Code inventory.
In addition to our own products, we manage over 30 key strategic supplier relationships with other original equipment manufacturers; and together, we are developing new and innovative solutions to meet customer challenges and needs. Your work will include project engineering, component engineering, technical supplier oversight, and component fabrication and testing.
This position requires occasional travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.
