As an Electrical Engineering Co‑op, you will support the team by designing, analyzing, and developing innovative engineering solutions by applying electrical engineering principles. This co ‑ op term will run from Spring 2027 through Summer 2027, providing extended, hands ‑ on experience working alongside engineers in a highly technical environment.

The position will be located in Lynchburg, VA at the Advanced Technologies Office.

• Instrument selection for process variables like temperature, pressure, flow, and positioning systems based on project requirements.
• Design instrument interface, routing, and mounting solutions in addition to control panel sizing.
• Develop algorithms, architectures, and requirements for control systems.
• Develop and design electrical circuits and schematics.
• Develop and deliver unique engineering solutions used in a nuclear environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a degree in engineering.
• Must have strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Must be available for the full assignment period:
  Spring 2027-Summer 2027
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Pay: $25.05- $31.83

The starting hourly rate for this position in Virginia (US-VA) at the start of employment is expected to be between $25.05 and $31.83 per hour. The hourly rate offered is based on local job market factors and other objective business considerations.
