Compensation: $120K–$120K annually
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a team of electrical engineers, controls engineers, and designers supporting complex conveyor, material-handling, and industrial automation systems. - Lead, mentor, and develop electrical engineers, controls engineers, and designers
- Oversee electrical design for conveyor and material-handling systems
- Review and approve electrical schematics, panel layouts, and control drawings
- Lead development of PLC, HMI, VFD, motor control, and automation systems
- Ensure designs meet electrical codes, safety standards, and customer requirements
- Collaborate with mechanical engineering, manufacturing, project management, and installation teams
- Support complex electrical and controls issues during commissioning and startup
- Manage engineering resources and prioritize multiple projects
- Participate in customer meetings and provide technical support
- Evaluate new technologies to improve system performance and reliability
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field OR 7–10+ years of electrical engineering experience
- 3–5+ years of engineering leadership or management experience
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial automation
- Experience with electrical schematics, control systems, and industrial equipment
- Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, UL, and OSHA requirements
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar design software
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Conveyor systems, material handling, or warehouse automation
- Distribution centers or manufacturing environments
- Robotics or automated storage system integration
- Experience with conveyor controls and automation
- PE license is a plus
