WQLU Lab Attendant

Responsibilities

• Assist students using the audio labs and do production work for the radio station.
• Assist the radio station manager as requested.
• Strictly adhere to Liberty University policies, representing the University in an exemplary manner.
• Work effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s mission.

• Passion and drive to better understand the inner workings of a radio station.
• Prefer at least a semester’s worth of experience working at a radio station.

• Communication and Comprehension:
  Ability to convey information verbally and in writing.
• Public communication skills to represent Liberty University professionally.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Computer and scheduling skills.
• Problem solving:
  Ability to reason, analyze information, and apply judgment.

• Travel to local and campus locations.
• May be required to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, handle materials, reach overhead, kneel or stoop, and lift 10 or fewer pounds.

Work environment is climate‑controlled, well‑lit, and has moderate noise level. Occasional outdoor event facilitation may be required.
