Customer Service Rep
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Speaking, greeting, and hosting guests of the School of Business.
- Assisting at events.
- Interact positively and professionally with all who come into the School of Business.
- Relay information on the various university resources.
- Assist with setup and hosting of School of Business events.
- Basic office functions.
- Strictly adhere to Liberty University policies, representing the University in an exemplary manner.
- Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s mission.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including public speaking.
- Interpersonal skills, including a collaborative and team-oriented work style.
- Ability to interact and work with a diverse group including students, staff, faculty, alumni, and guests.
- Work a minimum of 12-18 hours weekly.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Time Type: Part time
Location: Onsite
Pay Rate: Starting at $12.77 per hour – student employees are paid at least the current Virginia minimum wage per hour. Pay may vary by position and department based on job responsibilities, required skills, available funding, and market conditions.
