• Exports new loan applications from Point-of-Sale System and imports them into the LOS. Reviews applications and incoming documentation to ensure complete, accurate information and updates information on Loan Origination System (LOS). Requests and verifies accuracy of incoming data and coordinates any problems/discrepancies with borrowers, underwriters or loan originators. Assembles and analyzes borrower data and computes ratios for submission to loan underwriters.
  
  Assumes responsibility for providing effective support for all phases of first mortgage loan activities.
• Prepares orders to vendors for credit reports, appraisal, title orders, flood zone certifications and authorizations to close and any other document orders as needed.
• Prepares and sets up preliminary loan folders. Issues initial loan disclosures after the files have been reviewed by an underwriter or mortgage loan officer for each loan put into process. Updates loan folder information to reflect accurate data for the final review. Prepares commitment letters and adverse action notices as requested.
• Interacts with members and borrowers to answer questions on loan qualification process. Tracks and prepares reports on all new loan application submissions, referrals and leads. Promotes all Beacon Credit Union products and services. Daily communication with borrower to inform of any updates or additional information needed for the Mortgage Loan Process.
• Performs and assists all necessary third‑party origination processes as needed or requested. Understands and updates Floify system.
• Initiates pre-quality control and post-quality control orders for review.
• Performs mortgage servicing roles in a backup capacity on an as‑needed basis. Will remain updated on all processes related to the mortgage servicing position. Supports co‑workers and other departments as needed or requested.
• Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, Safe Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Provides excellent internal and external customer service.

• Has experience with different types of mortgage loans, escrow and ARM requirements.

• High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree preferred. Valid Driver's License.

• Great organization and communication skills.
• Computer skills a must.
