* Position Summary:

** The Clinic Manager is a leadership role which is responsible for performing exceptional patient care, in addition to providing strong leadership to Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants and Occupational Therapists.
** Primary Functions & Responsibilities:
*** Exercises fair and firm leadership of all Office employees, establishing and maintaining high morale in the department.
* Monitors the level and standard of work produced by staff and guides, coaches, and advises as appropriate.
* Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods.
* Provides information to patients and health care team by answering questions and requests.
* Conducts regular performance reviews.
* Oversees staff payroll, timecards, and paid time off.
* Supervises all non-physician office staff and ancillary personnel, coordinating activities to accomplish the goals of the practice and the office.
* Implements and monitors office policies and procedures.
* Works with the management team and office staff to coordinate the functions of patient care services across the practice.
* Ensures superior service for all patients of the practice.
* Consults with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms.
* Diagnoses movement dysfunction and develops a treatment plan.
* Teaches patients how to properly use therapeutic exercise techniques.
* Assists patients with the use of equipment such as wheelchairs or walkers.
* Maintains patient records and documents goals and progress.
* Utilizes knowledge of patient's diagnosis, signs, and symptoms presented and results of diagnostic studies to determine the patient's level of function.
* Sets priorities and establishes realistic short-term goals and long-term outcomes.
* Documents and maintains a plan of care for each patient which includes specific physical therapy orders in coordination with the medical plan of care.
* Appropriately utilizes the capabilities of personnel in assignment of self and team members.
** Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
*** High proficiency with computers, MS Office, and practice management systems.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must, along with excellent leadership, customer service, and service recovery skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong supervisory skills and ability to effectively delegate responsibility.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information.

** Position Requirements
*** BS, MS or DPT from an accredited school
* Current Physical Therapist license
* Current CPR Certification
* Outpatient orthopedic practice highly preferred
