Packaging Line Leader – 2nd Shift OCCUPATIONAL

SUMMARY:

Oversee and engage in activities encompassing a single production line, assuring safety, quality and efficiency of operation.

• Report issues that deviate from plans and requirements for safety, quality, or production.
• Safely and efficiently produce product within quality guidelines.
• Properly maintain GMP documentation at assigned production line, including routine checks and calculations.
• Assure organization, collection, and delivery of documentation and product samples as required.
• Assess production issues, perform minor adjustments, and maintain equipment cleanliness as needed.

• Complete reporting documentation (i.e. DWOR, Labor, inventory, work orders, batch records, lost time).
• Take action as needed to maintain an efficient operation, such as moving manpower when line is down.
• Perform training and guidance as needed throughout department.
• Communicate front line perspective on safety, quality and production issues (i.e. RCA involvement).
• Perform other related duties as required.

• Substantial walking required, including climbing ladders and handicap inaccessible areas.
• Must be able to properly lift materials up to 50 lbs.

• High School Diploma or the equivalent.
• GMP knowledge and experience.
• Two years manufacturing experience.
