Box Drop Operator - 3rd shift

Our Box Drop Operators are critical to success at Frito Lay! Our Box drop Operators are responsible for operating process-related equipment and plant process control systems in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. Although you will start out as a Process Operator for Frito Lay, we are investing in helping you grow with us. In this role, here are some of the frequent tasks you will be doing:

* Verifies box supply status for ACEs and drop chute

* Contacts warehouse for additional boxes when needed

* Operates manual pallet jack to transport carton on pallet to appropriate staging area

* Sorts through the returned cartons at the ACE prior to loading into the ACE

* Clears jams in ACE

* All other task assigned by manager

We are open 24 hours a day, which means you may not have a typical schedule, and our jobs are physical! If you have never worked in a warehouse or manufacturing environment before, you should understand that you will be on your feet for a majority of your shift around loud equipment. Here are the minimum qualifications of this job:

* You are at least 18 years of age or older

* You will be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift

* You are able to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist (e.g. a twin-size mattress) with or without a reasonable accommodation

* You are able to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation

* You are able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation

* You are able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation

* You are willing and able to work at heights using ladders or lifts to access areas of the plant
