Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Roller Fabricator is responsible for manufacturing conveyor rollers by fabricating and assembling raw materials into finished products. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to accurately read and use a tape measure, and a commitment to producing quality components while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements Duties and Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and assemble a variety of standard and custom conveyor rollers according to production specifications.
  • Identify and work with various tube gauges and bearing types to ensure proper assembly and product quality.
  • Safely operate saws and automated production equipment used to cut, press, crimp, and straighten roller components.
  • Package completed rollers by crating and banding products for shipment or storage.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor equipment adjustments as needed to support production.
  • Operate a forklift to transport raw materials, finished products, and other materials throughout the facility.
  • Report equipment issues, material concerns, or other unusual conditions to the supervisor promptly.
  • Accurately read and use a tape measure while performing measurements involving fractions and decimals.
  • Maintain production goals by meeting established work schedules and performance expectations.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards throughout each shift.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and manufacturing standards.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
  • Forklift experience and certification are preferred.
  • Working knowledge of standard hand tools and their safe operation.
Technical Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to accurately read and use a measuring tape, including fractional and decimal measurements.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a production environment.
