Our client, a leading organization in the mailing and printing industry, is seeking a Inserter Operator to join their team. As a Inserter Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the mail processing team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Inserter Operator
Location: Lynchburg, VA
Pay Range: $17
Shift: 1st shift -- 5:00 am to 1:30 pm; 2nd shift -- 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm;
Monday to Friday
What's the Job?
- Operate a computer/manual controlled insert machine to assemble mail according to work order instructions
- Follow safety rules and standard operating procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Read and understand work orders, perform quality control checks, and verify components match specifications
- Set up and troubleshoot insert equipment to maintain efficient processing
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, report issues promptly, and complete daily paperwork accurately
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively in English
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and work as part of a team
