We are looking for a motivated Lathe Machinist to join our Machining Department. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys making challenging parts, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and has a keen eye for detail. Experience/education with manaul or CNC Lathes is required.

What You'll Do
  • Set up and operate manual and/or CNC lathes to machine precision parts according to customer drawings and specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
  • Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, inserts, and cutting tools.
  • Perform turning, facing, boring, threading, drilling, grooving, and other lathe operations.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
  • Make adjustments to machine settings and tooling to maintain required dimensions and tolerances.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and follow all company safety and quality procedures.
  • Complete production paperwork and accurately document measurements, quantities, and job information.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen;
    No dual citizenship allowed.
  • Previous lathe experience/education preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to read work instructions, blueprints with GD&T and follow specifications.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Dependable, punctual, and a positive team player.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and cross-train within the department.
