At Ortho Virginia, you’re part of a team dedicated to delivering expert orthopedic and therapy care across the state. As Virginia’s largest provider of musculoskeletal care, we offer full‑time and part‑time opportunities in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.

Four 10‑hour shifts (4x10). Participation in an on‑call rotation required, including weekends and holidays. Hospital‑based operating room providing surgical care.

• Circulate surgical cases in a fast‑paced outpatient orthopedic surgery center.
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies for scheduled procedures.
• Verify patient identity, surgical site, and procedure in accordance with safety protocols.
• Act as patient advocate before, during, and after surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and the perioperative team.
• Anticipate needs of the surgical team to promote efficient case flow.
• Monitor patients throughout the intra‑operative phase while maintaining safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist with inventory management and maintain appropriate supply levels.
• Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition or surgical needs.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Operating Room (OR) nursing experience required.
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing principles and surgical procedures.
• Experience circulating surgical cases.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred, if applicable).

Compensation range: $36.63 – $54.95 per hour, adjusted for qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, geography, and internal equity considerations.
