  Clinical Observation Unit Med/Surg RN staffing in a hospital setting, working 12-hour day shifts (START: 10/05/2026; END: 01/02/2027).
• Specialty:
  Medical Surgical Floor (MS).
• Schedule:
  
  12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, scheduled days.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Valid nursing license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, at least 1 year of nursing experience, and current clinical skills in medical-surgical care.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Prior travel experience in a Med/Surg setting.
• Additional Information:
  This assignment requires prior travel experience for all Centra positions. Responsibilities include patient observation, charting, and collaboration within a teaching hospital environment that involves interaction with students and new hires. Charge responsibilities may be required, with appropriate pay differential and training provided. Weekend and holiday work is considered, with up to 20-week assignments available to support unit staffing during the holiday season.
  
  RTO requests and limited time off are managed during the assignment process, with cancellations possible due to census up to 36 hours prior. Submission requires work history with at least 2 years of experience, explanation of all employment gaps over 90 days, skills checklist, and copy of Nursys/license.
