The Quality Technician works collaboratively with the Quality Manager, Quality Engineers, Production Managers, Process Engineers, Shift Supervisors and members of the Leadership team to perform inspections of all parts and trials. The Quality Technician is the recognized expert on all aesthetics and measurement requirements for inspections. The Quality Technician is responsible for all quality documentation in IQMS as well as any physical paperwork.
Additionally, the Quality Technician will assess trials, participate in corrective action meetings, attend meetings on new product development, participate in customer conferences, initiate lot traceability and all other aspects of quality that may be required. The Quality technician will occasionally also work on the production floor to perform QL duties. The Quality Technician will also work in the rework area, if needed.

Qualifications:
Education... High School Diploma or GED
Essential Knowledge… Intermediate mathematics, reading and writing skills. Organizational skills, ability to prioritize daily tasks and work as a team member. Have basic computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Office and Excel.
Work Experience… a minimum of two years supervisory/management experience, a basic knowledge of quality principals, an understanding of measuring equipment, a good attitude, a desire to succeed and is not intimidated by confrontation. This person must conduct themselves with professionalism when discussing quality issues whether it be to an operator, supervisor, manager or owner.
