- Demonstrate knowledge of floor, backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and equipment operation and maintenance; prepare meat products (cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) according to established standards; cut boneless meat products; maintain product quality standards.
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Ensure operational excellence by maintaining work area per company policies and procedures; enforce quality and date control standards; secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
- Act as a talent ambassador by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area and modeling high‑quality service and products; execute basics at the highest level of quality; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards; use the Open Door Policy and apply these in business processes.
- Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; recommend improvements; adapt and learn from feedback.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Competitive hourly wage of $17.00 to $25.00, plus performance‑based bonus awards and other benefits such as medical, vision and dental coverage; financial benefits including 401(k) and company‑paid life insurance; paid time off and family care leave; short‑term and long‑term disability; company discounts; military leave pay; adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement.
