Retail & Customer Service Specialist Position About the Job

We’re looking for someone who can move seamlessly between customer interactions and behind-the-scenes work - bringing warmth, efficiency, and attention to detail to everything they do.

This is a full-time, in-person role at the heart of our brand experience. You’ll help customers find the perfect bag in our retail space, support online order fulfillment with care, and play a key role in the day-to-day flow of a small, fast-moving business.

At Meanwhile, every detail matters - from how a bag is styled on the floor to how it’s packed and shipped. If you’re someone who takes pride in thoughtful work, enjoys a hands-on environment, and thrives in a mix of customer-facing and operational tasks, you’ll fit right in.

• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or a similar role preferred
• Strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with people
• Detail-oriented with a take-pride-in-it work style
• Organized, reliable, and able to keep up in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Appreciation for quality, craftsmanship, and small business

• Create a welcoming, on-brand in-store experience
• Help customers find and style the right pieces
• Pack and fulfill online orders with care
• Keep the retail space clean, organized, and visually strong
• Support inventory, restocking, and merchandising
• Assist with events, open houses, and occational pop-up events.
