Job Summary
This job is responsible for the promotion and selling of XFINITY Residential products and services within an assigned turf. The role focuses on direct sales to individual customers and multi‑dwelling units to meet sales targets, using extensive product knowledge and sales experience.
Core Responsibilities- Showcase Comcast product expertise and promote/sell to customers through door‑to‑door canvassing in assigned area.
- Demonstrate current knowledge of XFINITY Residential products, including features, benefits, pricing, and campaigns.
- Communicate effectively, develop rapport, and evaluate customers’ existing and potential product needs to make recommendations.
- Increase customer understanding of Comcast products and pricing models, highlighting unique benefits over other service providers.
- Evaluate competing offers and frame responses that showcase Comcast’s advantages.
- Meet physical requirements, including walking or traveling door‑to‑door over considerable distances in all weather conditions.
- Where applicable, obtain and maintain any credentials and/or licenses required to sell and/or design alarm systems.
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; work nights and weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Annual base salary is $30,000, with a target total compensation of $74,000 (base plus targeted commission). Commission provides significant upside for over‑achievers. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission under the applicable plan; most non‑sales positions are eligible for a bonus. High School Diploma or GED.
Relevant Work Experience2‑5 years of sales experience.
