Grading Crew Equipment Operator - CDL A​/B Lynchburg

RSG Landscaping, LLC. is looking for an experienced Crew Leader for our grading division located in Lynchburg, VA. The position is primarily in the Lynchburg, Roanoke, Charlottesville, and Richmond, VA areas, with occasional travel for out‑of‑town projects. The Crew Leader supervises and works alongside crew members to successfully complete sitework projects, operating heavy equipment such as front‑end loaders, excavators, skid steers, dozers, graders, compactors, trucks, and other machinery in a variety of weather conditions.

• Use heavy construction machinery to load and/or move various materials
• Read specifications and blueprints to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures
• Resolve problems when they arise
• Properly follow RSG Landscaping and OSHA safety procedures
• Other duties as assigned

• Valid Virginia Driver’s License
• Class A or B CDL (Required)
• GED/High School Diploma
• 3+ years of proven experience as a Grading/Sitework/Utility Foreman
• Completion of an OSHA 10‑Hour Construction Course

• This position requires a flexible work schedule: nights, weekends, holidays, and/or overtime
• Must be able to climb, maintain body equilibrium, reach, grasp, bend and walk/stand/sit for extended periods of time
• Must be able to hear and see naturally or with correction
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• This position requires working in the internal and external environment
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Ability to work under pressure with time constraints in a changing environment
• Ability to effectively communicate

$19.00–$28.00 per hour, dependent on experience
