Pay Range: $24- $32 per hour

Position Overview

As a Plumbing Mechanic, you will install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems on commercial job sites. This role is ideal for an experienced tradesperson with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.

A Journeyman Plumber License is preferred but not required.

What You’ll Do Professionalism and Work Ethic

  • Work a full scheduled shift and maintain productivity
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
Technical Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems
  • Ensure all work meets applicable codes and industry standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project instructions
  • Coordinate work with other trades on multi-craft job sites
  • Deliver clean, professional, high-quality workmanship Safety
    • Follow all OSHA and company safety policies and procedures
    • Use required personal protective equipment at all times
    • Identify and report unsafe conditions immediately
    • Participate in safety meetings and promote safe work practices
    Problem Solving and Coordination
    • Identify issues or discrepancies and communicate them promptly
    • Assist in developing solutions to jobsite challenges
    • Escalate complex issues to Lead Mechanics or Foremen when needed
    • Prepare tools, materials, and equipment for daily tasks
    • Help ensure materials are stored and used efficiently
    Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and supervisors
    • Follow directions accurately and seek clarification when needed
    • Support a positive and collaborative jobsite culture
    • Contribute to team success through cooperation and accountability
    What We’re Looking For
    • Several years of plumbing experience in commercial or industrial settings
    • Journeyman Plumber License preferred but not required
    • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and installation practices
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
    • Dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background checks
    Work Environment and

    Physical Requirements

    This is a hands-on role in a construction environment and may include:

    • Frequent standing, bending, climbing, kneeling, and lifting
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
    • Working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
    • Travel to job sites, sometimes including extended drive time
    • Exposure to construction materials, tools, and equipment
