On-site in Lynchburg, Virginia

• Creates custom software that is used across site by internal customers.
• Conducts software testing and validation to originator requirements.
• Creates software documentation to comply with quality assurance requirements.
• Troubleshoots software issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• A minimum of a Bachelor s degree in Computer Science is required.
• Must possess the ability to read and understand technical documents.
• Must be highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities is required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.

• Experience with C Sharp and  programming is preferred.
