Truck Driver Flatbed

Position Overview

Several flatbed accounts need Class A drivers right away. The company is expanding its regional fleet and requires 12 drivers to operate 2021 trucks and trailers across two accounts.

The operation is based east of the Mississippi;
New York City is excluded.

• Haul steel pipe, flat steel, aluminum pipe and coils, ingots, and other building materials on flatbed trailers.
• Tarp loads; approximately 40% of loads in sleeper trucks receive an additional $30 per load when tarped.
• Work regular late‑model Freightliner trucks with sleepers or daycab Freightliners with rolling‑tarp Conestoga trailers.
• Travel on dedicated lanes, achieving plenty of miles weekly; offsets include: multi‑stop pay, lay‑over pay with approval, tarp pay, detention pay, drop pay, scales pay, and EZ Pass/Pre‑Pass.
• Complete background checks, physical, and DOT related tests prior to deployment.

• Minimum of one year recent OTR experience in the last three years, with at least six months of that being flatbed.
• At least 21 years of age and hold a Class A license in good standing with no serious violations.
• Excellent driving and job history, with no terminations due to safety and no more than seven jobs in the last three years.
• Ability to drive in at least five states beyond home state, spending the night in the truck.
• All flatbed experience verifiable with past employers in business and available for reference.

Drivers can earn an average of $1,300–$1,600 per week and up, with 27% of the load paid directly. Bonuses and benefits include:
