Job Overview

Merchandise Processor II – Shipping (Temp To Hire) at Distribution Center. Responsible for picking, packing, inspecting, and shipping merchandise to customers, as well as performing accurate data entry via PC/RF system.

• Picks, packs, inspects, and ships merchandise to customers.
• Accurately performs data entry via PC/RF.
• Achieves production (UPH) and quality (IQA) standards in all areas.
• Works with team members to support process improvements and cost reductions.
• Understands team objectives within assigned work area and applies basic skills and procedural knowledge.
• Reports to work as scheduled, using the time clock system.
• Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Assists in any area of merchandise processing during busy periods.

• Previous PC/RF experience preferred.
• Basic keyboarding skills; computer literate (knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word).
• Distribution center experience preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Good hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to work independently or in a team as assigned.
• Quality conscious and detail oriented.
• Flexibility to work in other areas, overtime or extended hours.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or written instructions.

• Lift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend, stoop and climb for up to 10 hours at a time.
• Climb stairs, stand for duration of work shift and walk/move continuously.
• Work around moving machinery/equipment.
• Adjust to climate changes; hot and cold extremes may occur in warehouse.
• Perform frequent/reoccurring movement (folding, hanging clothing, wrapping, packing, closing, ticketing, etc.).
• Lift up to 50 pounds several times per day; weight requirements may vary within work areas; perform overhead lifting as necessary.
• Work comfortably on open platform/loft areas that are elevated to a second or third story level.

• Full-time or Part-time.
• Able to flex up and work overtime as needed.
