Merchandise Processor II (Temp To Hire)

Distribution Center position responsible for picking, packing, inspecting, and shipping merchandise to customers, as well as performing data entry via PC/RF and maintaining production and quality standards.

• Picks, packs, inspects, and ships merchandise to customers.
• Accurately performs data entry via PC/RF.
• Achieves production (UPH) standards in all areas.
• Achieves quality (IQA) standards in all areas.
• Works with team members to support process improvements and cost reductions.
• Understands team objectives within assigned work area.
• Applies basic skills and procedural knowledge within assigned work area.
• Reports to work as scheduled, using the time‑clock system.
• Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Assists in any area of merchandise processing during busy periods.

• Previous PC/RF experience preferred.
• Basic keyboarding skills; computer literate (Microsoft Excel and Word).
• Distribution center experience preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Good hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Quality conscious and detail oriented.
• Flexibility to work in other areas, overtime, or extended hours.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or written instructions.

• Lift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend, stoop, and climb for up to 10 hours at a time.
• Climb stairs, stand for duration of shift, and walk/move continuously.
• Work around moving machinery/equipment.
• Adjust to climate changes; hot and cold extremes may occur in warehouse.
• Perform frequent/reoccurring movement (folding, hanging clothing, wrapping, packing, closing, ticketing, etc.).
• Lift up to 50 pounds several times per day; weight requirements may vary within work areas; perform overhead lifting as necessary.
• Work comfortably on open platform/loft areas that are elevated to a second or third story level.

• Full‑time.
• Able to flex up and work overtime as needed.
