ROLE:The Welcome Center interacts with hundreds of people daily, providing warm welcome, information, and direction to all truck drivers and contractors entering the worksite. They promote safety and security by validating business purpose for the site visit, and ensuring only approved and expected visitors enter the worksite.
SCHEDULE:Part time 4:00AM- 10:00AM Monday-Friday, with a mandatory 30-60 minute lunch break (totaling 5-5.5 hours per day, 25-27.5 hours per week standard schedule). Generally, flexibility can be offered on lunch break length and when taken in the shift. We are a small team and seek to support each other to take time off to enjoy family and rest, additional hours will be requested periodically for team vacation and sick coverage as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Welcome several hundreds of employees and visitors to our worksite daily.
- Validate employee status or that worksite access has been pre-approved for each non-employee contractor and vendor.
- "Opening" shift, and relied on for unlocking doors throughout campus.
- Direct contractors and drivers where to go as needed, connecting them to the correct departments and site locations.
- Log all non-employee inbound traffic.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of business, employee, and vendor information.
- Special project and administrative responsibilities in support of Welcome Center and Recruiting team.
- Physical ability and wilingness to be outside in all weather conditions, and frequently walking to engage in-person with visitors in their vehicles across different entry lanes.
- Ability to speak loudly and clearly over truck engine noise to communicate instructions to drivers.
- Demonstrated experience holding significant responsibility in prior position.
- Demonstrated work or volunteer leadership experience interacting with a positive, flexible, and servant-hearted attitude toward customers, employees, or the community.
- Willing to be on feet frequently, and exposed to the elements when interacting with drivers.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), general Microsoft Windows Operating System familiarity, basic math, and ability to type 30 WPM or more.
- $21.00 - 22.00/Hr DOE
- Traditional and ROTH 401(K) including eligibility for discretionary profit-share contribution from company after 1 calendar year of employment.
- Accrued Sick Leave equivalent to 1 hour per 40 worked.
