Position: P/T SOFT COUNT CLERK
PURPOSE OF POSITIONCount gaming and non gaming cash in compliance with internal control procedures. Prepare required paperwork. Verify counts with cage personnel.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS Reports Directly to:
Chief Financial Officer, Soft Count Supervisor Supervises Directly: N/AOther Important Contacts:
All casino department managers and supervisors, Tribal Gaming Agents, Security and Accounting

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Accurate count and record revenue.

Complete all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

Accountable for the security of all revenue within their control.

Complies with company and department policies and procedures.

Provide accurate and timely documentation and reporting of department activated and status as requested.

Maintain confidentiality of company and information.

Maintain a professional and neat appearance of self and work area and present the company in a positive manner.

Other job related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Obtain and maintain valid Class III gaming licenses from the Nooksack Gaming Commission and the Washington State Gambling Commission.

Able to bend and reach between 2 and 5 feet.

Demonstrated writing and English comprehension skills.

Demonstrated computer applications skills.

Able to stand on feet for extended period of time.

Able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Preferred:

Previous cash handling experience.

Previous casino experience.

WORKING CONDITIONSOccasionally exposed to a loud, crowded, and smoke-filled casino environment.

Will be required to enter and exit count room as a team. Required to enter/exit count room upon giving notice to surveillance and cleared by security.

Will be monitored by surveillance cameras.

Could be monitored by Tribal Gaming Agents present in count room.

May be required to work weekends and evenings.

May be exposed to biohazardous materials (from the drug screens).May encounter difficult situations involving confidential information and interpersonal conflict.

VI. PHYSICAL DEMANDSWalks distances between count room and casino floor under a variety conditions including a smoking environment.

Stand for extended periods of times up to 8-10 hours per day.

Able to bend and reach between 2 and 5 feet.

Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
