Machining Laborer - Swing Shift (3:45-12:30)
Lynden Door - 2077 Main Street, Lynden, WA 98264
We’re looking for a dependable and hands-on individual to join our team as a Machining Laborer
. If you enjoy working with machines, solving problems, and being part of a steady, reliable crew — this could be a great fit.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:45pm-12:30am with some overtime available
What You’ll Do – Daily Tasks- Operate and set up machinery to produce finished doors
- Troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise
- Perform quality control checks on finished doors
- Verify machine settings before and during operation
- Document work and communicate with the incoming shift
- Learn your area and build technical expertise over time
- Follow quality and safety standards, and help keep the workspace organized
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Report irregularities and updates to your Supervisor to ensure smooth shift transitions
- Be a reliable, steady member of the team
Skills & Qualifications
- Interest in basic troubleshooting and continuous improvement
- Ability to manage time and workflow to meet deadlines
- Positive, self-motivated, and solution-focused mindset
- Eagerness to learn
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math and measurement skills (fractions, decimals)
- Strong sense of responsibility and consistency

What We Offer- Wage: $21.75 per hour (This includes a swing shift premium of $1.75)
- Hours worked over 40 hours in a week are paid time and a half
- Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, Health Savings Accounts (HSA's) with employer contributions
- 401K (Available after 90 days) including profit-share after 1 calendar year of employment
- 8 Paid Holidays (eligible after 90 days)
- Paid Time Off (Accrues at 2.0 weeks per year to start, eligible to use after 90 days)
