The Seasonal Inventory Tracking Attendant (ITA) position consists of four distinct functions:
Front‑End ITA, Drum ITA, IQF ITA, and Product Disposition Technician. Each role is responsible for the proper use, creation, and identification of all fruit inventory products used and created within the Harvest facility. Workers will learn to operate the warehouse management software Parity Factory to support the duties of each function.
- Performs raw product inventory transactions related to product weight adjustments, quantity confirmation, and corrections, as well as issuing necessary raw products.
- Learn the full functionality of Parity Factory to fulfill responsibilities.
- Maintain and record all required information on assigned record‑keeping materials.
- Serve as a point of contact for managers and supervisors regarding products used and any identified product quality concerns.
- Follow internal and external product specifications during the packaging and filling of fruit products.
- Understand and facilitate the operation of various filling mechanisms and equipment.
- Serve as a point of contact for any issues related to filling equipment malfunctions.
- Operate Parity Factory to label and identify all products packed and designated as juice or puree stock.
- Oversee and coach employees responsible for the manual filling of drum products.
- Perform start‑of‑day or end‑of‑day tasks to ensure shift preparation and completion.
- Maintain appropriate records related to inventory transactions on assigned record‑keeping materials.
- Operate and maintain label‑printing equipment.
- Identify and label finished products produced.
- Oversee and ensure correct stacking of finished product cases and ensure packaging presentation.
- Operate Parity Factory to print and place product identification labels for all frozen fruit products.
- Coordinate with the Product Disposition Technician to assign the correct product code.
- Maintain appropriate records related to inventory transactions on assigned record‑keeping materials.
- Operate and maintain label‑printing equipment.
- Perform temperature analysis on frozen products as they are produced.
- Analyze frozen raspberry products for crumble percentage.
- Use collected data to disposition products to the appropriate product code according to internal specifications.
- Coordinate with the IQF ITA regarding product testing results.
- Follow all product handling guidelines to ensure food safety.
- Enter product testing results to facilitate data reconciliation and review.
- Serve as a point of contact for line operators, supervisors, and managers regarding product quality test results.
- Notify personnel of non‑conforming test results and report any foreign materials or product abnormalities to the Quality team.
Employees work in cold (non‑weather) conditions and in moderate to loud environments (hearing protection required). The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
Physical DemandsThe role requires standing and walking for long periods. Employees often bend, kneel, extend, and walk upstairs. Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds and infrequently up to 40 pounds.
