Darigold is seeking a motivated Packaging Operator to join the team at our Lynden Washington plant. As a member of the Operations team, the Production Operator should possess the desire and ability to contribute to the success of the plant. Our plants create nutritious products 24/7, 365 days a year - availability to work multiple shifts, including weekends and holidays is a must!
This is a full-time hourly union position.
- Operation of a 25kg filler, tote filler and forklift operation, in accordance with Darigold standard operating procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and all regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and safely without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to complete multiple repetitive tasks with attention to detail and must be committed to accuracy and quality.
- Ability to maintain legible, accurate documentation.
- May be assigned on projects in other areas when needed.
- Experience working in a food processing/manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Experience driving and operating forklifts strongly preferred.
- Must be capable of heavy lifting (up to 56 pounds).
- Ability to work with others to achieve team goals.
- Ability to maintain high attendance standards and be trusted with a high level of responsibility.
- Available to work multiple shifts in a 24/7 environment.
- Able to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
