Schedule:

** During harvest seasons (July and October), expect a busier schedule with up to 6 days per week. Outside of harvest periods, the workload is lighter.

We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong mechanical background to take the lead on maintaining and repairing our forklift fleet and other material handling equipment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and keeping equipment in top shape.###
** What You’ll Do
*** Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
* Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical components impacting facility operations.
* Complete routine inspections and maintenance on facility systems, including plumbing and electrical.
* Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
* Use power tools and welding equipment as needed for repairs and fabrication.
* Operate lifts and other equipment safely while performing maintenance tasks.###
** What We’re Looking For**
* ** Mechanical expertise** – experience with forklifts or material handling equipment is a big plus!
* Ability to perform preventative maintenance with minimal supervision.
* Comfortable using power and hand tools.
* Basic computer skills for logging maintenance activities.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold storage and dry storage environments).
* Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely at heights when required.
* Flexible schedule availability, including occasional weekends.###
** Preferred Experience
*** 1+ year of maintenance experience or trade school training in mechanical repair.
* Welding experience is a plus.
* Familiarity with refrigeration systems (Freon, CO₂, or ammonia) is helpful but not required.

Pay Range:$19.90 - $33.61
