During harvest seasons (July and October), expect a busier schedule with up to 6 days per week. Outside of harvest periods, the workload is lighter.
We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong mechanical background to take the lead on maintaining and repairing our forklift fleet and other material handling equipment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and keeping equipment in top shape.
What You’ll Do- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical components impacting facility operations.
- Complete routine inspections and maintenance on facility systems, including plumbing and electrical.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Use power tools and welding equipment as needed for repairs and fabrication.
- Operate lifts and other equipment safely while performing maintenance tasks.
- Mechanical expertise – experience with forklifts or material handling equipment is a big plus!
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable using power and hand tools.
- Basic computer skills for logging maintenance activities.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold storage and dry storage environments).
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely at heights when required.
- Flexible schedule availability, including occasional weekends.
- 1+ year of maintenance experience or trade school training in mechanical repair.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems (Freon, CO₂, or ammonia) is helpful but not required.

Pay Range: $19.90 - $33.61
