Coffee Equipment & Facility Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our buildings and equipment company-wide. They serve others by providing excellent service, listening to needs, paying attention to detail, and working in a timely manner. Contributing to permanent solutions within our locations helps our store staff and other departments create exceptional products consistently. The position requires travel to different locations daily and availability to troubleshoot problems throughout the day.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance on coffee brewing equipment, espresso machines, grinders, ovens, and other related machinery.
- Perform routine maintenance on commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
- Complete work orders in a permanent fashion, to the best of your ability, and in a timely manner.
- Provide outstanding guest service to store employees at all times.
- Maintain and work out of a company-provided vehicle.
- Maintain a professional appearance by keeping workspace, vehicle and tools neat and tidy.
- Follow the Education Plan and provide feedback on effectiveness of classes and materials.
- Be available for on-call shifts and respond verbally immediately and physically within 2 hours when on-call.
- Identify and communicate potential issues to help prevent problems.
- Communicate needs for parts and supplies to the Director of Maintenance.
- Keep an inventory of parts in the vehicle.
- Communicate clearly with the Director of Maintenance about completed work and upcoming needs.
- HVAC/EPA certification for commercial A/C, heating, and refrigeration is highly desirable.
- Positive and professional communication skills.

- Creative and confident problem-solving abilities.
- Strong integrity and team-friendly attitude.
- Ability to work independently under direction from the Director of Maintenance.
- Knowledge or experience in general maintenance, building materials, and tools.
- Great time management skills and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record. Age 21 or older due to insurance requirements.
- Repeated heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs above head).
- Constant standing, walking, stooping, bending, squatting; repetitive use of hands and arms when using tools.
- Pushing, pulling, lifting products; regular in-person attendance.
- Driver’s License on file and acceptable driving record.

Salary Information$30 - $40 per hour
