Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with overseas manufacturers and suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and supply agreements.
- Oversee import logistics, including ocean freight, customs, and supplier coordination.
- Lead product development initiatives, source new products, and identify new manufacturing partners.
- Analyze purchasing data, inventory levels, and market trends to support business growth.
- Collaborate with sales and operations to align purchasing strategies with customer demand.
- Support and help develop the purchasing team as the company grows.
- 5–10 years of purchasing, sourcing, or import experience.
- Strong background in international sourcing and supplier negotiations.
- Experience managing overseas manufacturers and import programs.
- Knowledge of ocean freight, customs, and global supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with product development is a plus.
- Leadership experience or interest in growing into a leadership role preferred.
