Key Responsibilities- Lead the execution and technical review of structural engineering projects, overseeing calculations, design drawings, specifications, and reporting deliverables.
- Mentor and support junior engineering team members, sharing technical guidance and promoting best practices in project execution.
- Collaborate closely with internal project managers and engineering leadership to maintain project timelines, budgets, and quality assurance benchmarks.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for client engagements, regulatory interactions, and stakeholder meetings.
- Support proposal development, fee estimation, and contract scoping with leadership to help drive business growth.
- Engage in business development activities, expanding project opportunities through strong client relationships and technical excellence.
- Contribute to innovation in structural engineering practices through the development of tools, templates, and streamlined processes.
- Participate in project closeouts to assess outcomes and contribute feedback for continuous improvement.
- Minimum of 8 years of structural engineering experience in the built environment.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in civil or structural engineering is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited program.
- Proven ability to manage technical delivery of complex structural projects independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience within engineering teams.
- Experience in project planning, coordination, and budget management is preferred.
