B. Braun Medical Inc. is a role focused on cleaning, refurbishing, sharpening and repairing precision surgical instruments. This position works in collaboration with Field Service Technicians II and Senior technicians under moderate supervision.

• Repair surgical instruments with guidance from Field Service Technicians II and Senior technicians.
• Build and maintain a positive relationship with the customer.
• Manage customers to meet or exceed expectations.
• Partner with Sales teams to grow business in the assigned territory.
• Perform accurate and timely repairs of precision surgical instruments.
• Manage on-site repairs, maintenance and testing of assigned instruments and equipment.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions; apply strong problem-solving skills.
• Produce timely daily work orders and updates to customer reports as needed.
• Cooperate with sales and technical teams to share information across the organization.
• Understand customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations.
• Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of work area and company equipment.
• Comply with applicable ISO and FDA regulations as stated in Quality Manual.

  Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

  Ability to perform calculations in all units of measure, including whole numbers, fractions and decimals; compute rate, ratio, percent; interpret bar graphs.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Salary Range: $30-$45/hr

The targeted range for this role considers various factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and other business needs. The disclosed range is not adjusted for geographic differential and compensation decisions are case-based. The range provided is a reasonable estimate.

Required:

• High school diploma.
• Experience with machining or handling of delicate metal instruments is desirable.
• Clear communication to customers, colleagues and management.
• Technical degree is desirable.
• Occasional overtime and shift scheduling changes may be required to meet customer needs.
• Computer knowledge is required.

Physical demands include sitting, talking or hearing; using hands; occasional standing and walking; occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
