Security Operations Field Engineer Intern

Security Operations Field Engineer Intern – Lyndhurst, NJ, New York metropolitan sites.

This position is responsible for designing, installing, servicing, and troubleshooting integrated low‑voltage systems, including access control, CCTV, intercom, network, and others. They will also program and configure multiple security systems.

• Validate hardware and project installations
• Participate in field audits of installed systems
• Coordinate with subcontractors on multiple projects
• Assist in job close‑out by providing final record drawings
• Review and interpret specifications and drawings
• Material deliveries
• Other duties may be assigned

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical field
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Access
• Strong knowledge of networking and IP concepts
• Strong basic math skills
• Knowledge of tool usage including multimeter
• Strong project documentation concepts
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills including the ability to handle multiple demands and assignments, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage resource procurement and utilization

Compensation range: $23.00 – $27.00 per hour. Overtime pay and recognition programs may apply.

Location:

United States. Individual pay is determined by experience, education, and skills.
