Instrumentation Controls Technician

Broad Function and Purpose of Position:
Individual will work a 2nd shift work schedule and document, analyze and test computer control systems related to user system design specifications and machine operating systems. Perform maintenance and calibration activities on devices and instruments. Troubleshoot existing equipment and control systems for efficiency and operation.

• Application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications for control systems.
• Documentation, analysis, and testing of computer systems or programs, based on and related to user system design specifications.
• Documentation and testing of computer programs related to machine operating systems.
• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot devices/instruments and labeling equipment.
• Manage the Calibration Program, including schedule of calibrations, performing calibrations on specific instruments, and maintaining Calibration Manager Software compliant with ISO 9000 requirements.
• Perform scheduled maintenance of specific electrical and electronic devices and systems.
• Provide weekend support, including on-site troubleshooting if needed, to the plant operations in the field of controls.
