Structural Designer – Packaging

The Structural Designer develops cost-effective packaging solutions using corrugated, folding carton, and other paper-based packaging materials. This role focuses on creating precise designs, coordinating with vendors for sample production, and ensuring packaging meets performance, manufacturing, and customer requirements.

• Design corrugated packaging, folding carton, inserts, and protective packaging solutions using CAD
• Create dielines, specifications, and production-ready drawings
• Coordinate with vendors to produce and revise samples
• Review and approve samples for accuracy, fit, and performance
• Partner with sales to develop customer-focused packaging solutions
• Optimize designs for cost, material usage, and shipping efficiency

• Degree in Packaging Design, Industrial Design, or related field preferred
• Experience with corrugated, folding carton, chipboard, or other paper-based packaging materials preferred
• CAD proficiency (ArtiosCAD, AutoCAD, or similar packaging design software)
• Strong understanding of packaging materials and manufacturing processes
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple projects
