Shipping Clerk - Dock

Summary

Responsible for timely and accurate picking, verification, packaging, and shipping of customer orders from the Lyndhurst fulfillment operation. Operates RF scanners and shipping systems, prepares labels and parcels for carriers, and supports inventory integrity and departmental priorities. Works to meet productivity targets while assisting receiving and other logistics tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Use RF scanners to pick and post orders accurately and efficiently
• Verify e-commerce orders and package items for direct-to-customer shipment
• Create shipping labels and prepare parcels for Fed Ex, UPS, and Brinks
• Maintain inventory integrity and report overages, shortages, or picking inaccuracies
• Stock packaging materials and support departmental projects as directed by management
• Assist with receiving, tagging merchandise, and dispatching deliveries to proper departments

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good verbal and written communication skills; detail oriented and able to multi-task
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and willing to work overtime when required
• Capable of lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 40 pounds
• Basic computer knowledge
• Stand-up forklift certification and experience a plus
